Todowing

Todowing is a Chrome extension for Todoist. Todoist flattens sub-tasks in the Today, Upcoming, Board, Filter, and Label views, so a task loses its structure once it leaves its project. Todowing shows the full sub-task tree inline in those views, up to four levels deep. Each row keeps its own due date, priority, and labels, and you can complete or reopen sub-tasks without leaving the list.

The free plan includes nested sub-tasks with full row details (limited to 5 sub-task rows per top-level task), seven color palettes, and a text size slider from 85% to 200%. It needs no account.

The lifetime unlock costs $19.99 once, with no subscription, and includes all future updates. It removes the row limit and adds: add, rename, and reorder sub-tasks from the list; hide done sub-tasks; file a task under a parent in another project; focus sessions that run across open tabs; time estimates with totals in Todoist's header; a notes pad above the Today list; a font picker with 50 Google Fonts; and read-only Apple Calendar events in Today. A 14-day refund window applies.

Todowing works with any Todoist plan in the Todoist web app on Chrome. Your Todoist API token stays in your browser and goes only to the official Todoist API. Tasks never reach Todowing's servers, and the extension has no analytics or tracking. Todowing is an independent product and is not affiliated with Doist.
